A Message from Our Principal
To our learners, families, staff, and the broader Aggeneys community — welcome. This school belongs to all of us, and everything we do here is shaped by that shared sense of belonging and purpose.
Two years ago, we celebrated a decade of education in Aggeneys — ten years of children who have walked through our doors, been nurtured by our staff, and gone out into the world more curious, more capable, and more confident than when they arrived. That is our greatest achievement, and it belongs to this entire community.
OUR EDUCATIONAL APPROACH
At AIA, we follow the Cambridge Active Learning framework — a globally recognised approach that puts the learner at the heart of the educational experience. Rather than passive instruction, our classrooms are spaces of exploration, questioning, collaboration, and real-world application.
We believe that the children of Aggeneys deserve a world-class education — one that does not simply prepare them for a test, but prepares them for life. The world our learners will enter is fast-moving, interconnected, and constantly evolving. Through the Cambridge approach, we intentionally develop the skills and dispositions they will need to thrive in it.

Our small classes of typically 10 to 15 learners make this possible in a way that larger schools simply cannot replicate. Every child is known — their strengths, their needs, their story. For learners who need extra support, our teachers offer free afternoon remedial classes, because in this community, we do not leave anyone behind.

Through our annual cultural concert and afternoon activities, we celebrate the richness of who we are as a community. Learning at AIA extends beyond the textbook — it happens in conversation, in performance, in sport, and in every interaction between a child and a caring adult.

I invite every parent and caregiver to see yourself not as a bystander in your child’s education, but as an essential part of it. Your engagement, your encouragement, and your trust in us is what allows AIA to be what it is.
