For many years, I have dedicated my life to the field of education. Throughout my time being an educator, I have worked with a variety of students. I am privileged to oversee a school with such resilient pupils, a very dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. Being a part of this school and being able to help the children and families makes me feel extremely lucky. Aggeneys International Academy has come a long way. Ten years this year. Yes, it is our tenth year of offering an educational service to the community of Aggeneys.
Our dedicated staff and leadership team thrives on change, diversity, and advancement. The opportunities being afforded to our learners are of the highest quality and meets the diverse range of learning needs.
We are aware of opportunities for improvement, and via reflective practice, deal with issues on an individual and staff-wide basis. Students are at the centre of all school-related decisions. Through the development of a warm and affirming atmosphere of learning, we here at Aggeneys International Academy aim to develop in our children those qualities which will allow them to keep pace with the rapidly changing conditions of society.
We aim to provide excellence in education through:
- The creation of a safe and happy learning environment.
- The fostering of the values of caring, sharing, and mutual respect.
- The promotion of sound moral values.
We have an annual cultural concert and various afternoon activities. We have small classes of typically 10-15 children per class which ensure that each child gets individual attention. For those children who need extra attention, we have some teachers that have remedial classes in the afternoons at no extra cost to the parent.
We view education as a life-long process and continue to learn every year from our students, staff members, and parents at Aggeneys International Academy. Most importantly, students are at the centre of all school-related decisions.
